This monday, Marco had his fingerprints made for his green card, today two officers from the USCIS came to pick him up by his house in Brooklyn - and he's now taken into custody indefinitely..

Since this morning no one has reached contact with him yet, and the reasons for the imprisonment remains unknown...

The trip is therefore undoubtedly in danger..

All Clear!

Spite several complications - including fingerprints and a driver's license - we are now ready for take-off. Departure is set to April 6 where first stop will be Nashville, Tennessee. Here Oscar will be our first Couchsurfing host ever, hopefully a great experience awaits us.
Minor plannings still need to be worked out, like what to bring, what not to bring, where to depart from... and when?! And what to do in the long hours in the bus. The rest remains unknown to you and us but will be figured out on the road!
